How does it work?

Mounting brackets get installed into the concrete of the floor and ceiling to hold the glass. We only use the highest quality parts and screws to be sure your glass door will stay safely in place forever. Pilot screws are drilled into the concrete and then tapcon fasteners are drilled through the bracket in order to mount it to the concrete. The glass door is then screwed onto the mount so it can swing open and closed freely. Glass door installations are not typically complicated, although there is some seriously heavy lifting involved as well as the need for care and focus. All of our work is insured and  you the client are always protected.

Can a glass door be used on the exterior?

Of course. It’s just a different install than an interior install because the exterior door needs to be able to lock and protect from the elements with seals on the edges. Fast Glass Guys can do both interior and exterior glass door installations. We also offer different security options as far as protecting the glass from intruders should you choose to install a glass door on the exterior.
